Our Beginning

It all started in the fertile hills of Melong, Cameroon, a region known for its rich volcanic soils. Discovering the underestimated potential of both Cameroonian coffee AND cocoa, we saw a dual opportunity: to create a direct link between these exceptional terroirs and South Africa’s demanding artisans.

Our Founder

Ralph Maxwell Hega, and Baurice Ludovic Tidoh, passionate about agriculture and ethical trade, created The Green Secret with one conviction in mind: Cameroon deserves its place among the great origins of specialty coffee and cocoa. Their commitment? To ensure fair remuneration for producers, while offering irreproachable quality to processors.
